MJ Brickey's background (2007-2019) is as a national award-winning investigative journalist, columnist, and author — Society of Professional Journalists, National Newspaper Association, Associated Press — who has served as a producer, executive editor, digital editor, and consultant to various significant news sources and magazines such as Maryland's largest news source — TheBayNet.com, Ohio Valley's SciotoCountyDailyNews.com, multiple CNHI newspapers, and NCommon Magazine. She is the co-author of "Max Impact: A Story of Survival," which she wrote with her husband Jonathan Godfrey and has written independently for publications such as The Magazine Lifestyle, TheBayNet.com, AirMedandRescue.com, and Vertical911.com.
She spent September of 2019 to October 2020 working with The Hollar Entertainment Company alongside Donna Roberts, hosting a live show, "LIVE from The Hollar," interviewing reality celebrities, singer-songwriters, musicians, authors, and performers during the first stages of the COVID19 pandemic and the subsequent social distancing lockdown.
